VIRTUAL CARE & TELEMED

OMAproviders™ is an advanced Virtual Care and TeleMed service that offers patients access to care through “Virtual Visits” both inside the medical center and remotely. Through our services Continuity of Care is preserved and Medical Access for the Patient is enhanced. Patients and Providers are able to schedule, engage and receive care via our recommended Telehealth systems and through our OMAproviders™ programs.

​How it Works

Providers utilize one of our recommended, HIPAA compliant, Telemed resources to set up their Virtual Care program. Providers that already have a Telemed system in place, are welcome to  use resources of their own choosing, and members new to OMAproviders™ are not required to utilize out recommended resources. 

Patients will be able to access the Provider remotely once the Provider has set up their HIPAA Telemed service.  In addition to traditional Telemed services,  Patients can also be seen alternatively inside the medical center while their Provider may be off site or at another location. In either scenario, the Patient can engage with their initial Medical Provider, as their treatment and healing progresses. Providers have the opportunity to set their schedule and accept appointments from their patients within their predetermined availability.  

Members of OMAproviders™, receive guidance, structure and deeper understanding as to the various requirements necessary for acceptance, reimbursement and placement on Medical Provider Networks (MPN's).  As with the Occ Med Alliance Community of Providers, our OMAproviders™ membership includes other types of medical professionals such as Physical Therapists, and TeleRehab services.

Occ med Alliance also provides On-Site Virtual Care Services for Employers seeking to have a designated medical service on-site at their company location.  Through our OMAproviders™ On-Site Services, we are able to offer some of the most comprehensive virtual options on the market.   A few such options include: EKG, Ultrasound, Medical Cart, Stethoscope,  Dermatoscope , Trichoscope,  Iris Scope,  Otoscope, Pulse Oximeter and several others.
